The Global Research and Consulting (GRC) Group at Wharton is a dynamic, student-run consulting organization dedicated to giving students substantive, real-world problem-solving experience.
\nOur mission is to bring together the most talented, passionate, and diverse students from around the world, forge them into a tight-knit community, and empower them to deliver exceptional results for our global clients.
\nWe provide research and strategy consulting to industry-leading organizations across the consumer, financial services, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit sectors, including Google, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, WWF, and NASA. We are committed to developing rigorous, collaborative future leaders and to sustaining a community that supports its members well beyond graduation.

\n\nJoining GRC
\nGRC recruits new members each semester through an application and interview process. We hold information sessions and coffee chats beforehand so prospective members can meet the team. No prior consulting experience is required.
\n\nWhat membership looks like
\nMembers join a project team and work directly with a client over the course of the semester, led by a Project Leader. Teams meet weekly with additional client-facing meetings throughout the engagement.
\n\nBeyond client work
\n- Finance and consulting recruiting preparation
\n- NYC Career treks to firms including BCG, Bain, Cornerstone
\n- Case competitions, including our Bain case competition (F'26)
\n- Social events throughout the year and an end-of-year formal
\n- An active alumni network across consulting, finance, and industry
