We are a co-ed student a cappella group at the University of Pennsylvania that performs music across pop, indie, alternative, and rock genres. Keynotes is dedicated to fostering musical talent, interdisciplinary community, creativity, and organizational legacy—most notably by exclusively performing original arrangements created by our own members.
\n\nOur mission is to share this creativity with others through dynamic performances, group trips that strengthen community, collaborations with fellow musicians beyond Philadelphia, and merchandise that promotes inclusivity and pride. We also record professional albums to preserve our artistry and celebrate the dedication of our members.

You can show up at any time and sign up (in person) for a fifteen minute audition slot! I auditioned for Keynotes on a whim because the rest of my friends were doing it, but I'm so unbelievably grateful that I did because I would've missed out on the most amazing group of people! From frantically whipping together a large bowl of the signature Keynotes spinach dip at after parties, to giving prompts to Ariana for celebrity musical impressions between auditions, Keynotes has given me some of the best moments of my college experience.
