Founded in 1986, the Penny Loafers, or Loaf, is the University of Pennsylvania’s only all-gender indie-pop a cappella group.
\nThey perform an eclectic mix of songs from your favorite artists and ones you might not have have heard of before -- they love introducing people to new music!
\nThey're also a competition group -- they compete in the International Championship of A Cappella (ICCA) annually. In their first year competing in 2024, they won their quarterfinal and moved onto semifinals.

\nMembers are expected to attend 3 rehearsals per week, participate in gigs, perform in our Winter and Spring concerts, and compete with the group in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAs).
