We partner with several community organizations and local schools to offer free private music lessons (in piano, percussion, strings, brass, and more), field trips, and performance opportunities to students in the wider West Philadelphia area. It’s a great way to be involved in music and is a nice break from classes and Penn."},{"id":177,"text":"We volunteer with kids from West Philly once a week for an hour and teach them how to play a musical instrument, and at the end there’s a concert where they can show what they learned.
