Club Mission

About Us:

Penn Albanian Society is student club at the University of Pennsylvania of Students who hope to share various aspects of Albanian culture with the university community. All students interested in learning about Albanian culture, traditions, history and food are welcome to join.

Goals:

  • Create a strong sense of the Albanian community at Penn
  • Serve as home-base of all college-based Albanian communities in the United States
  • Arrange open events in which accomplished Albanian speakers could come to Penn as guest lecturers
  • Strive for philanthropic events aimed towards facilitating conditions in our homelands
  • Collaborate with other Albanian communities in Ivy League universities
  • Strive for cultural exposition and general knowledge on Albanian History
  • Have pre-professional and cultural aspects
  • Create an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment
