We accomplish this through service, academic scholarship, and sisterhood. Some of the events we do during the semester include formals, date nights, professional headshots, Quizzo for Philanthropy, and more!

WHO CAN JOIN? Any gender minority undergraduate student studying STEM, graduating between Fall 2024 and Spring 2026, invested in promoting the interests of women and other gender minorities in STEM.

Question: Do you guys do date night and formals? - Anonymous

We do! Because we are a social and pre-professional sorority, we have fun social events like date nights and formals along with professional events and sisterhood bonding.

Question: Can I join AOE and another frat/sorority? - Anonymous

Because AOE is both a pre-professional and social sorority, we ask that you not be in other panhellenic sororities or pre-professional fraternities. Other societies and fraternities that are service based, or centered around another focus are okay! This can also be answered on a case-by-case basis if you have a particular one in mind.

Question: I have class and can't make it to one of the events. Can I still be considered for closed rush? - Anonymous

Yes! We are having 4 open rush events this semester and you only need to attend 2 in order to be considered for closed. Also, if you have class you can just let an officer know and you can be excused.

Question: What does rush involve? - Anonymous

Our recruitment process entails Meet and Greet events open to any female-identifying student in a STEM field; attend 2 out of 4 meet and greets and you will be considered for closed recruitment the following week which follows a similar process.
