Club Mission

Auxilium (latin translation being “support”) at the University of Pennsylvania is a student-run group that provides tutoring for the following children and teens in partnership with Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia:

  • those who have or are currently receiving cancer treatment
  • those with loved ones, including siblings, parents, grandparents and/or guardians, receiving cancer treatment

Each of our tutors undergo training prior to their first session. We also host monthly training sessions with lessons on emotional support, tutoring techniques, situational awareness, and many more.
