Nexus aims to serve as the mind studies hub at The University of Pennsylvania, providing professional resources and a community for those studying linguistics, psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, and computer science.

Additionally, mind studies are at a crossroads with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) programs-- fundamentally changing the human experience. This provides both enormous risk and opportunity for all. Centering diverse thought, perspective, and intellectual power is essential in driving AI/ML development in a humane and inclusive direction, and Nexus's mission. Therefore, it is our goal that all students are provided a space to discuss contemporary and prevalent discoveries in mind studies with peers.
