Computer Systems at Penn

We aim to introduce interested students to the very intricate field of large scale distributed system design and implementation. Computer systems are at the heart of a lot of advances made in various fields, right from cyberphysical systems like pacemakers, real-time systems like autonomous vehicles to massive AI frameworks. This organization aims to take a peek "under the hood" of these systems, see how they're built and how we can build and reason about them. We also want to connect students to industry professionals at Nvidia, Google, AWS and many others to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
