Club Mission

Diversity & Inclusivity in Physics aims to promote diversity and inclusion for all students within the University of Pennsylvania. We aim to teach awareness of the lack of diversity in physics and the forms of discrimination that are often faced by marginalized students in STEM fields, and how to combat systemic bias. We hope to create a community that supports those who may encounter these issues. We hold events such as workshops, reading groups, and external speakers to educate and empower ourselves. We also work with faculty and administration to enact changes to make Penn more inclusive.
