We are the only student group focused on breaking at the University of Pennsylvania. We believe that Hip-hop, Breaking/Bboying, and dance are something that can be shared by all. We seek to share this vision with the Penn and Philadelphia community by developing our members individual skills through training, performing at on and off campus events, and by entering competitions to represent the University of Pennsylvania.

How to Get Involved
Any Penn student is always welcome to join us at any of our practices at any time, no dance experience necessary. We are one of the few dance groups on campus to not have an audition practice. The only requirement for membership in Freaks is regular attendance at our practices, and helping out at our annual jam, Rhythmic Damage. Check Instagram and/or our Facebook group for updates on open practice times and other events!
