IMPAC (Impactful Mentorship at Penn for Adopted Children)

IMPAC is a student-run club aimed at mentoring local adopted children in the Philadelphia community and fundraising for the One Sky Foundation. We pair each member of our club with a mentee and host monthly mentorship meetings that consisted of activities such as bowling, visiting the aquarium, etc. During the pandemic with the inability to meet in person, we were still able to virtually meet with our mentees through Zoom, and sent out packages of activities/arts and craft kits to both mentors and mentees for each pair to do the activity together during the duration of the event. Coming out of the pandemic, we have been able to organize more in-person mentorship events within and outside of Penn's campus, including picnics, game days, and trips to Round1 arcade!
