Locust Bioventures is a group of undergraduates at the University of Pennsylvania that helps create biotech startups. Partnered with the Penn Center for Innovation, we work directly with Penn research teams to provide the strategic guidance and business materials to turn their scientific discovery into a biotech company.
Our analyst team collaborates to apply our knowledge to create meaningful deliverables for our clients. Each semester, we conduct in-depth research, interviewing experts and developing insights across preclinical and clinical development, market analysis, and business strategy.
In the past, we have worked with novel therapeutics and drug delivery platforms coming out of the labs of Dr. Carl June, Dr. Drew Weissman, Dr. Mark Sellmeyer, Dr. Robert Mach, and more. With new clients each semester, analysts gain unique exposure and knowledge in early-stage biotech, within a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
