Club Mission

The Materials Science and Engineering Society (MSE Society) is a student group at the University of Pennsylvania made by MSE students to serve MSE students. We are dedicated to bringing students together outside of the classroom, strongly believing that a true education involves meaniful interactions with a community of learners. We organize both social events - such as our annual liquid nitrogen ice cream event - and professional events - such as alumni panels and upperclassmen coffee chats - in order to promote student-student, student-faculty, and student-alumni relations.
