The Materials Science and Engineering Society (MSE Society) is dedicated to bringing the materials science community at Penn together both inside and outside of the classroom.
The Materials Science and Engineering Society understands that a true education involves not only academic learning and technical skill sets, but also meaningful interpersonal interactions. We organize social events, lead academic workshops, and plan mentorship initiatives to promote professional growth in our student body. Additionally, we collaborate with faculty and administration of the Materials Science and Engineering Department to continuously improve the undergraduate experience in lecture-based classes, laboratory experiments, and co-curricular activities.
