Question: Does Mindly Magazine focus on the individual writers' experiences, prompts, news, and such in terms of generating content? How is the magazine itself structured in terms of how often it is released and what is included in each publication (are there themes for each edition?)? - Anonymous
Hi, thank you for your question! You are exactly correct about how we go about generating content. We respect the personal narrative and creativity of each of our writers, and we want to conserve as much of their voice as we can in publishing each piece. In terms of organizing publications, we let the our team know what the theme for our issue is going to be before the writing and designing start. In each publication, we try to incorporate a diverse genre of writings (poems, prose, narrative, letters, etc.) to designs (digital design, photography, illustration, etc.). How often we release issues is not really set in stone, but we usually aim for two per semester. The design team and editorial teams will work closely together during the whole process!
