Mujeres Empoderadas

CulturalUndergraduateGraduate

Description

As a student group at the University of Pennsylvania, the purpose of Mujeres Empoderadas (M.E.) is to support students on campus who identify as Latina and/or Hispanic. Mujeres Empoderadas is a safe space inclusive to women who identify with the Latina and/or Hispanic cultural experience.

Our mission is to encourage dialogue surrounding issues affecting Latina and/or Hispanic women and provide them with the opportunity to share experiences, advice, and support.

We host fun events like a Galentines Day Semi-formal, annual symposium, and biweekly gatherings. Above all we seek to strengthen and empower the women in our community.
