Club Mission

NEST is a student-run, service-based club at the University of Pennsylvania dedicated to promoting nutrition education and community engagement within Penn and across Philadelphia. Founded on three pillars—education, service, and community—NEST provides opportunities for students to learn, give back, and build meaningful connections.

Education: We work to make nutrition knowledge actionable and sustainable while raising awareness about food insecurity, a challenge affecting both Penn students and Philadelphia residents.

Service: NEST addresses inequities in access to healthy foods and nutrition education. We volunteer with local organizations and create resources that make nutrition information more accessible. By bridging Penn with the wider Philadelphia community, we strive to make a tangible impact.

Community: Above all, NEST fosters a supportive network of students passionate about education, health, and service. Together, we aim to inspire change in ourselves and in the communities we serve.
