Description

Advocates for Educational Justice is a club designed for students interested in addressing and highlighting the various inequities and disparities within K-12 education around the globe, with a focus on policies and conditions right here in the United States.

This club is open to anyone, regardless of who you are, how you identify, what you study, what you believe, or what you are interested in. Whether you are interested in learning about the various problems facing K-12 education today; discussing your thoughts regarding what in education you think needs to be addressed, such as standardized testing inequalities or school resource availability, amongst your peers; raising awareness of education-related issues you find important; or taking action to bring change to K-12 education; this club is the perfect place for you. In general, we aim to provide a comfortable communal space in which every student can have the opportunity to share their K-12 education-related thoughts and beliefs while also setting the stage for future changes within K-12 education.

After all, we are a group composed of members of the next generation to enter the political and working sphere. That said, our main goal is to recognize what has failed and what needs to change within our current academic system in order to provide a better tomorrow for the succeeding generations, the United States, and the world.
