Black Student League

The Black Student League (BSL) was established to connect and support students interested in Black culture and strengthen bonds across the African Diaspora. By engaging with our heritage, members can better understand diverse cultural histories and inclusively educate the broader campus community. BSL offers an open and welcoming environment for all students to navigate the University, making the Ivy League experience more accessible and fruitful through mentorship programs, socials, open forums, and cross-cultural initiatives. Today, BSL serves as a facilitator, advocate, and catalyst for issues concerning the African Diaspora, campus life, and student well-being. Membership, programming, and leadership opportunities are open to all Penn students.
