Club Mission

Circle K International (CKI) is the world's largest student-led collegiate service organization that is part of the larger Kiwanis International family. Its mission is to develop college and university students into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to serving the community. Our motto is "live to serve, love to serve" and is based on the 3 tenets of service, leadership, and fellowship. Our UPenn chapter is dedicated to serving the local Philadelphia area with service events that support organizations such as Relay for Life, Books Through Bars, Walnut Street West Library, and much more. We also offer various leadership opportunities through our executive and extended boards. Hosting a variety of club socials and study breaks, UPenn CKI is a tight-knit community always looking for new members!

As a member of Circle K, not only do you have access to opportunities to help and serve your community, you have the chance to meet students dedicated to giving back across multiple schools in Philadelphia and across the world as you interact with the different tiers from club to international committee. Being part of CKI grants you access to exclusive discounts, awards, and scholarships!

CKI clubs receive support from Kiwanis advisors, faculty advisors, and district administrators. Additionally, the Circle K International staff trains and assists district governors and international board members. There are opportunities for leadership and service at every level of the organization.

Question: Hello. My name is Anonymous, I think, because I check the anonymously box. I just have a couple of question related to this club. I once joined some community action events when I was still in high school. There, we did volunteering activities to local communities. Will I have the same (and probably extra) experience as the previously mentioned events? and how may I join? - Anonymous

Hello! You will certainly have many opportunities to volunteer in local communities with Circle K. Although some of our normal events have been paused/altered due to Covid, we still have many exciting events and opportunities planned for this upcoming semester.

We have open membership so anyone is open to join. You can join our listserv here to stay updated on events and announcements. We will also have a table during the SAC Fair this Thursday from 12-4PM, as well as a virtual component on Thursday 6-8PM. Feel free to stop by to learn more about our events!
