Club Mission

Mission Statement:
Penn Club Baseball is an athletic organization that strives to provide student-athletes with the opportunity to play baseball while developing a strong sense of team values and camaraderie.

The Team:
We are part of the National Club Baseball Association, which consists of teams from across the country. We play a Fall season from September-November and a Spring season from March-May. Practices are held twice a week, once at Meiklejohn Stadium (Penn's Varsity Baseball Stadium) and once at Penn Park. We usually play 3-5 series per semester, each consisting of a weekend doubleheader. Our roster sits around 20 players or so. The team consists of Penn undergraduate and graduate students. Tryouts are held in early September and in early February.

How to Get Involved

Contact Kethan Shirodkar (kshirod1@sas.upenn.edu) or Michael Yelpo (myelpo@seas.upenn.edu) for more information, including a tryout date.

For the tryout, please come with whatever equipment you have, and at the very least, a glove. We will have bats that you can borrow to use in the batting cages if you do not have your own.
