Club Mission

Penn Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program (PennKDSAP) is a student-run organization that provides free kidney health screenings and health education to underserved communities. We provide programs geared towards improving the health of underserved populations. In addition to screenings, we have five committees engaged in initiatives for health education, professional development, marketing, community outreach, and screening operations.

To volunteer at screenings, you will need to complete a training session, held once a semester. There are no applications required to be a general member, but if you are interested in getting more involved, you can apply to one of our committees. (Fall 2025 applications will be released 9/2!) How to Get Involved

Members can volunteer at our monthly screenings, and in order to volunteer at a screening come to at least one clinical training session.

If you are interested in taking a leadership role in the organization (organizing screenings, shadowing, health education, marketing, meeting alumni and affiliated physicians, etc.), you can join our many committees as a deputy director.
