Penn Nordic

Penn Nordic is will foster intercultural relations between students of the University of Pennsylvania, who either share Northern European heritage or display interest in Northern European affairs. We define Northern Europe as the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Greenland and the Åland Islands.

As a student group at the University of Pennsylvania, we are a gathering place for Nordic students on campus. Additionally, Penn Nordic will make sure that Nordic exchange students and Nordic 1st year students have a comfortable transition into the Penn community. Also, Penn Nordic will strive to spread cultural awareness of Nordic countries around Penn.

Penn Nordic will also work towards strengthening the relations between Penn students and Nordic commercial life.
