Club Mission

We are a student group at the University of Pennsylvania dedicated to the practice of traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate. We are officially recognized under International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF). We were founded in 2007.

We welcome any members of the Penn community to join us. We are very enthusiastic about new members joining us and offer our full support in helping you achieve excellence physically, mentally and spiritually. Come train (and optionally compete) with us!

How to Get Involved

We train in Pottruck Studio 414. We practice Wednesdays + Fridays (7:30pm-9:30pm) and Sundays (7-9pm). No experience required, all are welcome! Email us if you have any questions at pennshotokankarateclub@gmail.com!
