The mission of Penn Timmy Global Health (PTGH) is to help build a healthy future by expanding access to healthcare and healthcare education while empowering student volunteers to engage directly in local service and global development. With this platform, we work to raise awareness throughout the Penn community about current health issues in Philadelphia and abroad. Working towards this mission also involves forming lasting partnerships with local healthcare-based organizations. We also fundraise for our partner organization, Centro de Salud Hombro a Hombro in Santo Domingo, Ecuador as PTGH is a part of the national organization: Timmy Global Health, which strives to create self-sustainable clinics around the world. PTGH is a student group at the University of Pennsylvania.
