Club Mission

Penn RED is a group of students eager to solve economic, social, and environmental issues through intelligent urban planning, design, investment, and development. We are a group of students determined to explore the intersection between real estate and architecture in an effort to understand how to create value.

We participate in the annual URECC real estate and design competition: https://www.urecc.ca/ for a $10000 price.

The club also takes a semester pro-bono project to produce a master-plan for a specific area in the North East. We seek to create complete architectural and structural designs, real estate and financing strategy, and legal documents for the chosen project. We work closely with local government officials and count on the support of important private development and architectural firms. Additionally, we host speaker and networking events with distinguished alumni and other influential thinkers in the area.
