Club Mission

PWCS is a student group at the University of Pennsylvania. With support of the Penn Wharton China Center, the summit is committed to build an influential platform that promotes communications between China and the United States, engage Asian American entrepreneurs, and establish connections among students oversea in the United States. With over 1500 attendees coming from 4 countries, 34 States and over 70 Cities, the inaugural PWCS in April 2016 became the largest student organized summit in the United States. In 2022-2024, we hosted 5 conferences engaging over 100,000 participants through in-person and online channels.

PWCS and Wharton China Association (WCA) have reached an agreement to merge our operating teams and host activities as a joint entity, effective Fall 2024. For applications, please refer to information on the Wharton China Association (WCA) Penn Clubs page.

Question: do you need to be a Wharton student to join? - Anonymous

No. PWCS is open to undergraduates, graduate students, MBAs, PhD students from all schools at University of Pennsylvania. We are also open to non-Chinese students, should their interest and experiences match with our mission.
