Club Mission

Penn Women's Rugby is a student-run club sport team governed completely by its members. As a part of National Collegiate Rugby, we compete intercollegiately in both the fall and the spring. In addition to being competitive, we are quite a social group, and we tend to think of ourselves as not just as a team, but also a family. All Penn students (undergraduate and graduate) are welcome to join.

Question: hi do you only accept experienced students? - Chaebin Kang

Nope, while experienced players are of course welcome, we pride ourselves on being "no experience necessary"! Whether you're a pro rugby player or have never played a sport, we welcome you to join Penn Women's Club Rugby.

Question: Do you play year-round, or is there a specific season for Women's Rugby? - Erica Messics

We play year round! Traditionally, we would play 15s in the fall and 7s in the spring, but this depends year-to-year based on membership.
