Club Mission

The Student Activities Council (SAC) is one of the University of Pennsylvania's six branches of undergraduate student government. SAC funds and supports over 275 student organizations and represents their interests to the Undergraduate Assembly (UA) and the Penn administration. SAC's main mission is to improve the state of student organizations at Penn. SAC also provides tables and banner poles for Locust Walk events and organizes the Fall and Spring Activities Fair for student organizations to recruit new members.

The General Body is comprised of one representative from each SAC-recognized student organization. The Executive Board, which is comprised of eight elected members and the Treasurer of the UA, proposes budget recommendations that are voted on by the General Body. The UA allocates money to SAC each year based on the University of Pennsylvania's General Fee. The Executive Board analyzes each student organization's revenues and expenses before making decisions on budgets and contingency funding.

Question: Where can I find the applications for this semester? - Anonymous

Hey there! There is no formal application. Rather, you must run for an executive position at elections during our October GBM. Keep in mind you must be at least a sophomore and the club rep for a sac-recognized club.
