Penn Sargam is one of America's first student groups dedicated to performing and promoting South Asian fusion music. Established in 2004 by students at the University of Pennsylvania, Sargam’s ensemble brings together a diverse set of music ranging from Hindustani, Carnatic and Western classical to South Asian and Western pop, rock, jazz, and more.

We will hold auditions on January 16-18 for Fall 2025. We require all interested members to prepare a 3-5 minute piece for the instrument (including vocals) they are auditioning for. It's a collaborative and welcoming space, and we're excited to meet you all!
