All Penn engineers are welcome to attend our events and subscribe to our listserv .

Members seeking a more active role can apply to join one of Penn SWE’s committees:

Advocacy Committee: Promotes gender equity through events for the Penn Engineering community and beyond.

Educational Outreach Committee: Supports STEM education and future generations of women engineers through initiatives such as GEARS Day, High School Shadowing Day, and mentorship with local students.

Community Development Committee: Builds a close-knit, confident community of engineers through social programming, personal connections, and career development.

Board elections are held at the end of the fall semester for calendar-year positions. Students are encouraged to participate in a committee before running for the board.
