Club Mission

As one of the committee under SPEC (Social Planning and Events Committee), SPEC Art Collective provides Penn students with unique opportunities to experience all the excitement that the Philadelphia art world has to offer. In addition to behind-the-scenes tours to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and private art galleries in Old City, we organize customized trips to world-class art institutions in New York City, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art.

Every year, Art Collective also hosts a themed exhibit at the Fox Art Gallery, collaborating with other art-focused groups and presenting student works. The committee also arranges fun arts and crafts workshops as well as bring speakers to campus.

As a general body member, you will have the opportunity to help plan these amazing events and discover different careers in the arts. Getting involved in Art Collective is the perfect way for you to interact with the greater art community and meet other art-minded people.

Whatever your talents or desires are, you can contribute your skills and passion to the Art Collective!
