Are you a Penn undergraduate with a passion for research and a desire to make an impact with your research ideas? Project Lucid is a new student-run initiative at Penn that aims to inspire undergraduate students to strengthen their research communication skills.
To address these issues, we present the National Research Conference at Penn (NRCP), which is an annual event designed to provide a multidisciplinary platform for undergraduate researchers to showcase research findings via poster presentations as well as gaining insights from more senior scholars and scientists via speaker and networking sessions. The conference aims to foster communication, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among students from diverse backgrounds and various disciplines. By featuring renowned keynote speakers and well-accomplished researchers, we look to connect leaders of today to scholars of tomorrow in the immersion of cutting-edge research.
The conference will be a two day events (Oct. 4th-5th, 2024) with an estimated attendees of 150 people, featured by
- Poster Sessions: A showcase of scientific findings through visually appealing posters
- Lucid COmmunication Challenge: Brief presentations by students to highlight key aspects of their research to compete for awards
- Featured Speaker: Renowned keynote speakers and accomplished researchers will deliver talks.
- Panel Discussions: Engaging discussions on relevant topics led by experts.
- Gala night: Opportunities for networking and socializing.
