Are you a Penn undergraduate with a passion for research and a desire to make an impact with your research ideas? Project Lucid is a student-run initiative at Penn that aims to inspire undergraduate students to strengthen their research communication skills.
To address these issues, we present the National Research Conference at Penn (NRCP), an annual event designed to provide a multidisciplinary platform for undergraduate researchers to showcase research findings via poster presentations and gain insights from more senior scholars via speaker/networking sessions. The conference aims to foster communication, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. By featuring renowned keynote speakers and well-accomplished researchers, we look to connect today's leaders with tomorrow's scholars in the immersion of cutting-edge research.
The conference will be a two-day event (Oct. 10th-11th, 2025) with an estimated attendees of 250 people, featuring:
- Poster Sessions
- Lucid Communication Challenge - Elevator pitch grant-proposal competition before seasoned Penn researchers
- Keynote Speeches and Workshops from Renowned Scholars
- Panel Discussions - Engaging discussions on careers in academia and industry
- Gala Night - Opportunities for networking and socializing with fellow students from across the country
