Project Lucid is a student-run group at Penn that organizes the National Research Conference at Penn (NRCP), an undergraduate research conference hosted at Penn for students across the world. NRCP is an annual event designed to provide a multidisciplinary platform for undergraduate researchers to showcase research findings and gain insights from more senior scholars. By featuring renowned keynote speakers and well-accomplished researchers, we look to connect today's leaders with tomorrow's scholars in the immersion of cutting-edge research.

The conference will be a two-day event (tentative Oct. 2-3, 2026) with around 250 participants, featuring:

  • Poster Sessions
  • Lucid Communication Challenge - Elevator pitch grant-proposal competition
  • Keynote Speeches and Workshops
  • Panel Discussions - Careers in academia and industry
  • Dinner/Catered Meals - Opportunities for socializing with undergraduate researchers
