The University of Pennsylvania Pennguinettes have been in existence for over 50 years, making it the oldest women’s organization at Penn. 

It is also one of only two synchronized swimming teams in the Ivy League. Artistic Swimming is a club sport at Penn and is overseen by the Department of Recreation. 

The team competes in three to six meets a year, including the Collegiate National Championships. Each April, the entire team, including the non-competitive members, performs in an exhibition show for family, friends, and the general public at Sheerr Pool. 

We encourage interested swimmers to contact us. No prior synchronized swimming experience is necessary! All interested swimmers are welcome! 

Not the best swimmer but still interested? We can help you improve and have fun at the same time!

Not sure if this sport is for you? We will be holding Demo Days in early september at Sherr Pool. We'll be demonstrating basic skills/ a short routine. Afterwards, we'll have you get in the water and teach you some basic skills.

Please be ready to get in the pool! (swimsuit, goggles, cap, towel, flip flops etc.)
