Club Mission

The Spiral is an interdisciplinary journal for the intellectual discussion of how religion and spirituality overlap with society, including but not limited to politics, healthcare, the arts, the sciences, the social sciences, and beyond. It is a community for individuals to explore religion and spirituality through various lenses in order to bring these fields into an academic platform.

We are looking for students of all backgrounds and all commitment levels; there are no prerequisites or barriers to entry. We are not affiliated with any religious or spiritual organizations; you just have to be interested in the study of religion and spirituality to join. Applications will only be required for board roles (editors, copy editors, media editors, etc…), but you do not have to join the board to participate in other club events and discussions.
