Club Mission

TOM:University of Pennsylvania is a group of passionate students that are working to bring the Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM) Global organization to Penn’s campus. This club aims to facilitate the connection between students creating devices and individuals with unmet needs. We work with Philadelphia clinicians and patients to develop and build devices pertaining to their specific needs. Each product or device created is then open sourced in order for individuals with similar challenges to access the solutions as well.

Question: What specific projects has this club worked on in the past? Also, is there an interest form that I need to submit? - Claire Oxner
All of TOM's projects are listed on the TOM Global site: https://tomglobal.org At TOM @ Penn, we've been focusing on COVID related projects so far, but plan to expand the club this semester. If you are interested in joining the club, please email me at gweiss@seas.upenn.edu to schedule a quick meeting, and I'll give you instruction on how formally join. If you want to be involved, we'd love to have you on the team!
