Club Mission

UES is the largest economics organization on campus, hosting events such as speaker series, professor coffee chats, academic discussions, and more. We provide opportunities for academic and professional growth while fostering a strong community of students from diverse majors. All are welcome to join!

To become a general body member, join our listserv here: UES Listserv. Committee Member applications are released via the listserv at the start of each semester, so make sure you’re subscribed.

UES Committees

ALMANAC: Publishes the Economics Almanac, Penn’s first economics publication, twice a year.
ACADEMIC: Hosts biweekly discussions and writes articles on economic topics from healthcare to econometrics.
EVENTS: Runs events, workshops, and recruiting sessions for careers in policy, management, finance, and consulting.
FINANCE & OUTREACH: Manages the budget and partnerships with sponsors, guest speakers, and alumni.
MARKETING: Promotes events, manages social media, and designs merchandise.

You can join anytime as a General Body Member by simply signing up for our listserv here and look out for announcements for clubwide events including GBMs once a month.
