The University of Pennsylvania Figure Skating Club aims to create a community of figure skaters in the Philly area! The club provides an outlet for students to make friends and share their love of the sport through practice sessions, exhibitions, service events, group skates, and competitions. ALL levels (even if you have zero experience!) and ages are welcome!!

Yes! We have memebrs of all levels in the club and have a strong internal coaching program for whatever goals you have with skating. We are more active on our instagram, so I'd give us a follow there to stay updated!

We have skate rental available at the rink, which are a good option for when you are just starting, but as you advance we recommend purchasing skates.

Question: Hi, I don't have experience in figure skating, I can just rollerblade. Can I still join the club? What's the time commitment required? - Deeksha Hegde
Yes we have a bunch of beginners on the team! We also provide one on one lessons to new skaters in the club. General body time commitment is entirely up to the indivudal. However, if you choose to compete or perform in the show we ask that you come to the group practices in preparation.
