Math Contest at Penn is a student organization dedicated to hosting an annual math contest for high school participants. Our student group is focused on expanding mathematical outreach and stoking high school students' interest in math. There are many positions that don't require mathematical knowledge, such as social media, finance, logistics, and day-of volunteering. Our club is dedicated to spreading a passion for mathematics to students of all levels. As such, last year we ran both a beginner and an advanced contest to reach a broader audience of students. We included diverse mathematical problems from high school algebra, geometry, combinatorics, logic, and other fields, and we are always welcoming more ideas on how the contest should be run to make it appealing and exciting for students!
