UPGRADE is Penn's premier game development group. Every year, we produce two club-wide games, one every semester. The second semester game is published on Steam with your name in the credits! Anyone can join our club, and we do not require applications.
We provide the resources, opportunities, and environment to foster passion and creativity. We host yearly game jams, organize training workshops, present speaker talks, travel to fun events (such as GDC and PAX EAST), and more!
Whether you like programming, drawing, modeling, writing, composing, or anything, we welcome anyone interested in any aspect of games. While previous experience with any of these roles is expected, you'll hit the ground running and you'll make your very first game in a matter of days!
