About WAB

The Wharton Dean's Undergraduate Advisory Board (WAB) is Wharton’s oldest student leadership organization. Our nearly 40 year legacy rests on the mission of enhancing the Wharton undergraduate academic experience. Board members have the opportunity to collaborate with the highest levels of Wharton’s leadership, leaders in various industries around the world, and the student body. By generating and implementing initiatives that have a positive impact on the learning environment, WAB makes it a priority to integrate student voices into the school we call home.

Our Structure:

  • 20 Wharton Undergraduate students; 5 per class year
  • Four-year commitment once you join as a first-year student
  • Initiative teams of 3-5 people that are selected semesterly. Board members join multiple initiative teams each semester
  • 7–10 hour weekly time commitment

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, for the 2022-2023 school year, we are not accepting second-year applications as our recruitment cycle already occurred in the Fall.

How to Get Involved

We will be recruiting 5 first-year students to join the board in the Fall of 2024. Interested applicants should fill out our interest form to receive updates on info session dates, application reminders, and more!

Our application is due on Friday, September 13th at 11:59PM ET. Please note this is earlier than many other Wharton Clubs.
