Description

The mission of Cohorts is to create small, cohesive communities for a diverse Wharton Undergraduate population. Every Wharton first-year and Wharton transfer student is placed into one of 9 different Wharton Cohorts (Euro, Dinar, Dollar, Peso, Rand, Rupee, Shekel, Yen, Yuan). Your cohort is a community of other first-year or transfer students that you will work closely together in WH 101 with and see scattered in your classes throughout your four years at Penn.

Cohorts are led by our wonderful Cohort Leaders: 30 Wharton upperclassmen who are trained and happy to foster the Wharton Cohort community for each cohort member's first year at Wharton.

Throughout the year, your cohorts will be hosting events within and across cohorts for students to meet each other and socialize, ask questions to upperclassmen, and find mentorship.

How to Get Involved

If you are interested in a Freshman Representative position on your Cohort Board, keep on the lookout in your Cohort Facebook pages and talk with your Cohort leaders! We recruit for Freshman Representatives during the fall semester, then recruit for next year's Cohort Directors during the spring semester. Both recruitment cycles happen later than the Wharton centralized application, so we will have our own separate application.
