Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

The Gamma Epsilon Philadelphia City Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. is a chapter of dynamic, radiant, and distinguished young women. We are a student group whose leadership and dedication to service and scholarship are evident through our work on our respective campuses, throughout the North Atlantic Region, and internationally. We strive to uphold our purpose: to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of service to all mankind. The glorious and exemplary Gamma Epsilon Philadelphia City Chapter’s membership comprises five schools: Drexel University, La Salle University, Thomas Jefferson University - East Falls Campus, Saint Joseph’s University, and the University of Pennsylvania.
