West Virginia & Pennsylvania Camping: Three nights of camping at Blackwater Falls State Park (WV) and near Ohiopyle State Park (PA), with a full day exploring Dolly Sods Wilderness. Think waterfalls, big views, and creek crossings.

Old Logger's Path Backpacking (PA): A 3-day, 2-night loop through Loyalsock State Forest. No backpacking experience needed, but it's physically challenging.

Adirondacks (NY): Four days of lakeside camping on Great Sacandaga Lake, with mountain-top views from Cat and Thomas Mountains, fall foliage, and a day exploring Lake George Village and the World's Largest Garage Sale. $85.

Catskills (NY): Day hikes, waterfalls, small towns, and a cozy house in the mountains. Beginner friendly!

Vermont Stargazing (with the Astronomy Association): A cabin stay near Lake Willoughby, with fall hikes and astrophotography.
