Club Mission

The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is the undergraduate professional society for the bioengineering department. We serve as a liaison between the faculty and the students, organize social events for BE students to find community outside of the classroom, and host career and networking events.

Question: Can someone majoring in Biology in CAS join the club, or is it strictly for bioengineering students? - Anonymous

Thanks for your interest! While our club primarily serves bioengineering students and prioritizes them for certain committees, we welcome students from other related fields to join and get involved. Anyone with an interest in the life sciences and engineering community is encouraged to participate.
