Join the Digital Humanities Lab to engage in data-driven research in humanities!
In partnership with Penn’s Digital Humanities Department, the Digital Humanities Lab offers members the opportunity to engage in semester-long data-related research projects.
Under the mentorship of professors in the DH department, participants will learn and explore data-analysis programming (such as R and Python) and conduct research in a fun, humanities-related fields! Members will have the whole experience and ownership of the research project, from idea generation to data collection and analysis, to the ultimate showcase and presentation.
These projects will be great learning opportunities for students seeking to explore the humanities and social sciences or engage with tech and data analysis. They will also prepare participants for the summer research projects organized by the DH department.
We are an inclusive, creative, and collaborative community of researchers looking for passionate and inquisitive minds from all majors and backgrounds. Learn more about us and our projects for this semester at https://www.instagram.com/dh_lab_at_penn/
