Supported by the Netter Center for Community Partnerships, MathMates is a math tutoring program for middle school students at Andrew Hamilton School in West Philadelphia. Penn student tutors build relationships with students, teach math concepts, learn about the qualities of effective tutoring, and facilitate interactive games. 
Tutors can sign up for one-on-one tutoring in the after-school program (on Mondays or Tuesdays) or serve as a teaching assistant during the school day. All tutors also support content creation during Friday reflection sessions. Workstudy and volunteer positions are available! 
Undergraduate and graduate students from all majors and programs are welcome!
