Men's Rugby at the University of Pennsylvania is a sports club and student organization devoted to expanding and preserving the centuries-old tradition of rugby on Penn's campus.
We have a two-fold focus: development and competition. The club welcomes newcomers to the sports, teaching the rules and techniques of rugby. On the other hand, the club plays matches against other universities with the ultimate goal of winning National Collegiate Rugby titles. Men's Rugby at the University of Pennsylvania participates in both 15-on-15 matches (rugby union) in the fall and 7-on-7 tournaments (rugby sevens) in the spring.
We also seek to foster a rugby community beyond the field. Men's Rugby at the University of Pennsylvania maintains a strong alumni network, connecting students to generations of players that came before them.
