Club Mission

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization, dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by mental illness through advocacy, education, and support. NAMI On Campus Perelman brings this mission to the UPenn community by raising awareness, reducing stigma, and fostering dialogue about mental health among students.

As part of NAMI Philadelphia and NAMI National, we collaborate to host educational forums, organize volunteer and advocacy opportunities, and participate in community events such as NAMI Walks. While supported by NAMI Philadelphia, our chapter maintains independence in shaping campus initiatives that empower students to engage meaningfully in mental health advocacy.

NAMI On Campus Perelman welcomes everyone—whether or not they have personal experience with mental illness—to learn, advocate, and contribute to building a more compassionate, informed, and inclusive community.

*NAMI On Campus Perelman is a student group at the University of Pennsylvania*
