<p>Formerly known as Penn Cares for Kids, we are a club at Penn that facilitates volunteering at the HMS School.</p>
<p>The HMS School supports children with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and neurological impairments by helping them become more independent and improving their quality of life. Volunteers will have a unique opportunity to work with nurses, therapists, and HMS staff to support a wonderful group of students and patients through a variety of therapies and recreational activities while providing them with companionship. Our volunteers have assisted with a range of activities, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, dance/movement therapy, and special education.</p>
